I joined life in Africa in Feb' 2006. I am married with three children. Life was not easy before I joined Life in Africa. My children used not to go to school due to lack of money. Feeding was another problem for me. I used to feed my children on one meal, but now they can eat lunch and supper. My husband does not have a stable job, so my opportunity at Life in Africa has eased our lives.
Since I joined Life in Africa, I have worked very hard to maintain my job. Through this, I was made a tea girl. Life at home is not bad and all my children go to school. My husband is now confortable because we share the costs of running our family. Our landlord is also happy because we pay him in time other than those days when he thought of throwing us out of his house.
At Life in Africa I have made many friends whom, without joining I would not have met. From these friends am learning artisan work out of which I can get income. Am also looking forward to getting a business for my husband, to get stable income.
Life in Africa community has been so inspiring to me that, I do not wish to leave it.
